wow, its a bit ambitious renting in london if you dont have a real income.
Have you considered any similar courses further north?
it could make thousands £££ difference over 3 years.
Cheap AND nice areas in london?– best of luck!
i was near islington/kings cross last month, happened to look in an estate agents window for rentals.
found that a week in london was about the same as a month in notts / derby area.

London is hugely expensive. I have lived here since I graduated uni, and for the first few years had a lot less money than when I was a student. People who go to uni here would normally stay in halls or rent with loads of other people, which keeps the cost down. For a one bed flat you will spend at least £1000 a month for a decent area.
I would really advise you not to go to uni in London- a smaller, cheaper university town is much better, and you get a nicer university experience I think. Everyone I know that went to uni in London regretted it. Save London for when you can work and earn money, because it’s a real struggle even with a good salary.

Hmmmm it might it an idea to rent a room or do a house share with another couple or something to begin with. That way it will be cheaper as you will be sharing the costs with other people. A good website to have a look at is (i think). Hope this helps.

Try. If you can buy do it, renting is dead money. I asked the same question when I was 18, in the end I bought a flat for £56,000 its now worth £180,000!!
