£500 to 600 if you want your own flat, £300 to 400 if you are willing to share.

If you have to ask, then you’d probably struggle.

Studio flats in a dodgy area can be as cheap as £400 but around £500-650 should get you something reasonable.
One bedroom flats are a little more expensive (maybe £700-1000 depending on quality and location).
If you are new to London, get a friend, or find a new one who is from London, to help you with the business of renting a new place, as Landlords and Lettings Agents try to fool a lot of foreignors into renting places worth less for MORE! And never put down a deposit till you’ve seen the place and signed a contract stating your deposit amount.
