Where are the cheapest areas to rent a flat in London?
ByI’m moving from Glasgow to London next year but everywhere is so dear, roughly £800 a month to rent a flat, whereas here it’s roughly £400/£500 for a 2 bedroom flat. Anyone know any areas that let out flats for roughly the same amount as it is up here?
Cheers.

Whitechapel, but it’s also the Red Light Area of London.

in camden alot of really nice places go for £99 – £110 a week .. you can even find places under 200 in central london .. but don’t go for anything under 200 in central … believe me, you don’t wanna end up in some boarderline crackhouse in soho where domestic violence and very loud techno lurks behind every door
i would try camden or angel .. north areas

Try findaproperty.co.uk though I doubt you’ll find anything that cheaply.
