Funnily, BT doesn’t tie you into a contract, and considering that they pretty much own all of the lines (except the ones laid recently by cable companies), it makes sense to not get another company involved too!
You can join BT, and leave them in the same month if you want.

if there is already a bt line there its a 3month term if not its a 12month term either way if you cancel before the end of the term you will have to pay a £18 cancellation charge call 0800 800 150 or check for more info… ps bt charge a £11.00 line rental a month!

Go on net and put in pay as you go land lines,,they do good deals for short term
