I am a visiting scholar at San Diego State University. I am looking for a room/studio or one bedroom apartment for rent from Aug 30,2009 to Dec 17, 2009. Any suggestion on where I may find short term lease. It appears most of apartments offer lease at least for 9 months. I don’t have a car, I’d prefer a place close to bus stop or trolley station. My English is not very good, so I prefer a safe neighbour community so I won’t run into trouble easily as a foreigner. Your suggestion or information will be very helpful to me. Thanks very much!

my and my fiance are moving over to edmonton from england in march and are trying to find an apartment to rent short term while we are house hunting, can anyone recommend anywhere its only the two of us no children or pets.
