I’m planning to stay in London for 8 nights. I’m going there with my boyfriend. We wanted to rent a flat for those 8 nights. I’ve been searching some websites but i’m not sure if they are to trust. http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk) My idea is not to be so far from the city centre because i don’t want to spend a lot of money in buses, or underground. Any idea of a trustworthy website? I’ve already checked www.homelidays.com but not enough.

I earn £30,000 a year after tax and I want to save around £20,000 of this into a high interest savings account and then at the end of the five years buy properties to rent out and as I earn more money from my rental properties invest in keeping them at a good standard and in other properties as I build up my portfolio. Where I live you can buy one bedroomed flats for £20,000 and three bedroomed semi detached houses for £60,000 so I won’t have any problem in purchasing the properties.
I also have the option of getting a buy to let mortgate from the bank for £75,000 which I’ll pay back at around £500 per month and from the interest I gain from having my rental income and other income in the bank etc I’ll pay this loan off in the short to medium term, all the while I’ll still save from my regular job and continue to invest in properties which will hopefully give me a good financial future.

Hello,
I have found a flat where I wanted to move in and have paid a deposit for the flat in full one month amouth. The landlord seems to be having some troubles to have the flat ready for us in the time we have agreed for. So I got a bit worried and spoke with my friends and they offered me a better and cheaper accomodation. I did not sign anything, I just paid the deposit.. can I get my money back in full amouth? Thank You

I took the flat on rent in Apr 09 through agent called Belvoir in Manchester ,next day I was told for all purpose I should contact LandLord .One guy was introduce to me as landlord who was actually friend of person who owns property group . I was not happy with the locality and asked for change Some other person called Sardar ,the actual property managment group owner called up and introduced as owner andoffered flat in Stockport .I left property in Jul 09 after short term 03 months tenenacy contract.
I could make out that I may not get the deposit back .I did not pay some of the bills .He did not returned money saying he shall arrange the meeting see the bills and then returned money .
I went on chasing him but it was frutile.
Later came to know it was affecting my credit History and I paid bills.
Now I had paid all bills but Sardar has shut his office .(The only place I know I met could have meet him ).I have his mobile number but he does not lift.
Got to know from new tenant that this person keep on changing the office and is not contactable.
please suggest .
Initial amount to Belvoir and later all months rent by Bank Transfer.
